Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne AG is strengthening its management organization for the further strategic development of the Innovation Park
Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne (SIPBB) is strengthening its four-member partner team with a Managing Partner. Following the successful establishment of four research departments and the move into the new building, the SIPBB is adding a Managing Partner to its team of partners. The aim is to further expand research excellence in the fields of automation, advanced manufacturing, battery technologies and medtech/healthtech, strengthen financial robustness and enter strategic collaborations.
Felix Kunz, co-founder of Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne, is taking on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Partner ad. interim. The partner model with the three heads of research Christian Ochsenbein (Head of Swiss Battery Technology Center), Dr. Dominic Gorecky (Head of Swiss Smart Factory & Head of Swiss HealthTech Center), Dr. Andreas Burn (Head of Swiss Advanced Manufacturing Center) and Anita Jörg (COO) will remain unchanged.
The current Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Thomas Gfeller will take over the management of the umbrella organization Switzerland Innovation as per March 1st, 2024. This results in a change in the chairmanship of the Board of Directors of the SIPBB to Felix Kunz.

Die Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne AG verstärkt die Führungsorganisation zur strategischen Weiterentwicklung des Innovationsparks
Der Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne verstärkt das vierköpfige Partner-Team mit einem Managing Partner. Nach dem erfolgreichen Aufbau von vier Forschungsabteilungen und dem Bezug des Neubaus erweitert der SIPBB das Partner-Team um einen Managing Partner. Ziel ist es, die Forschungsexzellenz in den Bereichen Automation, Advanced Manufacturing, Batterietechnologien und Medtech/Healthtech weiter auszubauen, die finanzielle Robustheit zu stärken und strategische Kooperationen einzugehen.
Felix Kunz, Mitgründer der Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne AG übernimmt das Amt des Verwaltungsratspräsidenten und des Managing Partner ad. interim. Das Partnermodell mit den drei Forschungsleitern Christian Ochsenbein (Head of Swiss Battery Technology Center), Dr. Dominic Gorecky (Head of Swiss Smart Factory & Head of Swiss HealthTech Center), Dr. Andreas Burn (Head of Swiss Advanced Manufacturing Center) und Anita Jörg (COO) bleibt bestehen.
Der bisherige Verwaltungsratspräsident Dr. Thomas Gfeller übernimmt per 1.3.2024 die Geschäftsleitung der Dachorganisation Switzerland Innovation. Daraus resultiert der Wechsel im Präsidium des Verwaltungsrates des SIPBB zu Felix Kunz.
