The latest network where Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne is playing its role. Batteries are the key enabler for emission-free mobility, renewable based energy systems, advanced robotics and mobile medical equipment. The iBAT association represents industry, authorities and research institutions along the complete value chain from manufacturing to recycling and strengthens Switzerland’s competitiveness in this core technology.
SIPBB as founding partner
Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne with its research center Swiss Battery Technology Center, with the BFH, the CSEM and the Ökozentrum founded the iBat Association to push battery applications & technologies in Switzerland. The starting members decided to build the collaboration because of the well-connected Network and the quality of the proposed services. The aim of the iBAT Association is to create radical new inventions together with our partners from science and economy for these leading field of innovation. SIPBB is playing a keyrole in this network with his unique mix of experts from research and development.
