This promising initiative was celebrated with a presentation by Mr Raymond Cron and a signing ceremony during the mission of Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin to Japan.

Japan Innovation Park (JIP), has the goal of organizing new collaborations between Switzerland and Japan and coordinating joint innovation projects and workshops for Swiss and Japanese innovation actors from industry and research institutions. The partners in Japan are Project136 and ICTFactory, two companies in Japan with long-term experience in international collaborations and innovation, and with a strong network and deep connections with Japanese industry and Government. The contact to the Japanese Government is important for solving funding issues for joint innovation projects in Japan or in Switzerland. Furthermore, the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo and the Swiss Business Hub Japan are supporting this initiative.
